Srinagar, May 04 (KNO): A nomadic woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Nishat area of Srinagar after she was allegedly assaulted on Sunday, officials said.
A senior police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the woman, originally from Reasi and currently residing in Nishat, was reportedly assaulted by some individuals near Water Works Road.
She was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where she was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognisance of the incident and arrested all the four involved persons.
